Arirang’s “Showbiz Korea” recently ran a segment showing behind-the-scenes footage from Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” music video. Girls’ Generation’s part in the segment, which also features English subtitles, begins at the 6:58 mark in the clip.
This past week, Girls’ Generation placed all ten songs from their fourth Korean album, “I Got A Boy”, on Billboard’s “K-Pop Hot 100“, with “I Got A Boy” taking the overall top spot.
Girls’ Generation continues to draw praise from media outlets around the globe, this time making Fuse’s “44 Most Anticipated Albums of 2013“. The media site lists the rumored release of an English version of “I Got A Boy” as one of the most anticipated album releases for this year.
Not only has “I Got A Boy” dominated the Korean music scene, but Girls’ Generation’s latest comeback has also brought them success in many other countries as well. Girls’ Generation topped the charts in Singapore, Taiwan, and the Philippines this past week.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY named Girls’ Generation on their “15 Artists to Watch“ list with their upcoming rumored English version album of “I Got A Boy”. The site described Girls’ Generation as, “Sugar-rush pop from a nine-girl group already huge in Asia. Their ‘I Got A Boy’, out now, makes putting up with months of ‘Gangnam Style’ seem worth it.”
Shin Hyunjoon recently tweeted two photos of himself with Sooyoung. His first tweet was a commemorative photo on the set of SBS’s new show, “Discovery of Trends”. His second tweet was another fun photo with the cast members and Sooyoung. The first episode of “Discovery of Trends” will air on January 25th. Sooyoung will be a special guest on the second episode, which will be broadcast on February 1st at 11:00 PM KST.
Kim Publae recently tweeted a photo of himself with Sunny and other cast members of “Catch Me If You Can” after eating dinner together. In the picture, Sunny displays a cute double V-sign pose for the viewers.
Shim Jaewon recently tweeted a photo of himself posing with Tiffany and Yuri. The photo was taken during the music video filming for “I Got A Boy”. Tiffany and Yuri are wearing the same orange wigs, making them look like twins.
