SK Telecom has begun a new ad campaign, “LTE Infinite Power Noot” (Translator’s note: A play on LTE being rearranged vertically to produce a Korean word, 눝, pronounced as “Noot”), for its LTE data service, and Yoona and Seohyun are two of the stars who will be featured. Other SM artists, including Kyuhyun and Siwon of Super Junior, SHINee’s Minho, and f(x)’s Sulli, are also part of the ad campaign.
Over a few days, SK Telecom has revealed each member individually along with sets of pictures on the official SKT Facebook page. Additionally, multiple CFs and interviews are being uploaded on their YouTube channel. SK Telecom has also created a website dedicated to the “LTE Infinite Power Noot” campaign which showcases the various CFs as well different pages for each of the members of the “Noot Fam”.
The CFs range from individual features to fun interactions between the SM artists as they show off SK Telecom’s LTE data.

In the 2013 K-League (editor’s note: South Korean football league) official guidebook, Taeyeon was voted as the ideal type of K-League. Out of 755 players who voted, 540 voted for Taeyeon as their ideal type, naming her “Miss K-League”. Kim Taehee and Kim Sarang took second and third place in the poll, respectively. The official guidebook, titled “2013 Beautiful K-League”, also included an interview with Taeyeon.

We asked the somewhat cheeky question of “Who is your ideal type?” to players who will be playing in the 2013 K-League Classic and K-League Challenge. While married players didn’t answer with their wives in mind, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, who received enthusiastic support from unmarried players, beat actresses Kim Taehee, Kim Sarang, as well as another girl group member, miss A’s Suzy, and became “Miss K-League”. We had to hear from Taeyeon, who received a generous amount of love from the K-Leaguers.
-Beautiful K-League: Passing prominent candidates, Kim Taehee, Suzy, and Kim Sarang, you have become the number one ideal type amongst K-League Classic and Challenge players. How do you feel?
-Taeyeon: I can’t believe it. (laugh) But I feel really good. Thank you.

The “ASIA STYLE COLLECTION” fashion event will be held in Singapore on June 22nd at Singapore EXPO. Popular K-Pop girl groups Girls’ Generation and 2NE1, as well as Japanese actress Noriko Sakai are scheduled to attend.
The “ASIA STYLE COLLECTION” is a fashion event where the leading edge of Asian trends in Japan, China, Korea, and Singapore are all put on display. It is held with the goal of spreading each participating country’s culture towards ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) member nations. To commemorate the inaugural “ASIA STYLE COLLECTION”, each contributing country’s popular fashion brands, top models, and artists will gather in Singapore and participate in various combined fashion and music stages.
During the event, the latest cutting edge styles from Japan, China, and Korea will be presented in several different stages, including “K-POP COLLECTION”, which will be handled by Korean broadcasting station SBS; “TGC Girls Collection”, which has been held in China three times in the past; and Japan’s top class fashion event “TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION”. Artists scheduled to light up the Korean stage include Girls’ Generation, who is highly popular even in Japan with their pop songs and choreography, and 2NE1, who gather attention with their unique style.

After sending only the members of sub-unit Girls’ Generation – TTS in 2012, it was announced that Girls’ Generation will be appearing with all nine members at the “I Love You Republic of Korea 2013 Dream Concert” on May 11th in Seoul.
The annual “Dream Concert” is consistently one of the bigger concerts in Korea, featuring some K-Pop’s most famous idols. This year’s event marks the 19th annual “Dream Concert” and will feature 21 artists in its roster, including Girls’ Generation, SHINee, B2ST, INFINITE, 2AM, U-KISS, ZE:A, KARA, SISTAR, 4minute, T-ara, SECRET, EXO, B1A4, Rainbow, Huh Gak, Girl’s Day, SPEED, BTOB, EvoL, and VIXX.

Anticipation grows for the sequel to 2010′s high grossing 3D animated film, “Despicable Me”, with “Despicable Me 2″ (in Korea as “Superbad 2″
. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Seohyun, praised for their voice dubbing in the first film, will reprise their roles for the upcoming sequel. Promotion for the film kicked off in Korea with the release of the first trailer.Taeyeon provides the voice for Gru’s eldest daughter, Margo, a ten year old girl with an attitude far beyond her young age. Seohyun, meanwhile, voices the mischievous and cynical Edith.
In “Despicable Me 2″, Gru continues his dream in becoming the world’s greatest villain, yet is ironically recruited by the shadowy Anti-Villain League to combat the threat posed by the new character, Eduardo. Fans will be thrilled to see Girls’ Generation voice Gru’s cute kids as they team up with the lovable Minions once more.
