The recording for MBC’s special comeback broadcast for Girls’ Generation, “Romantic Fantasy”, is scheduled to take place on December 23, 2012 at 6 AM KST.
On December 21st, Girls’ Generation released “Dancing Queen”, a remake of Duffy’s “Mercy” and a track from their upcoming Korean album. Through the music video, SM Entertainment also revealed that Girls’ Generation will be making a comeback on New Year’s Day, January 1st, with their newest album, “I Got A Boy”.

After making a comeback on January 1st, Girls’ Generation will be releasing its fourth Korean album, “I Got A Boy”, on January 2nd, 2013. “I Got A Boy” will be Girls’ Generation’s first Korean album as a group in over a year, having released “The Boys” in October of 2011.
The album will be released with ten different covers, nine of which will be individual jackets that show a single member of Girls’ Generation and one which will be a group photo. Covers will be randomly chosen when the albums are purchased. A poster will also be included with the album.
